Stole away to Suffolk

We decided to take a short break to Suffolk, where it's lovely and sunny but bitterly cold.

I call this the Gingerbread House, it sits right in the middle of the road at Aldeburgh.

The house plaque.

A High Street mural.

The sea and wind were so strong that we could't walk along the beach path.

And this was my mobile studio view for the afternoon.

I love the photos you have posted here - beautiful and very Suffolk! We used to have lovely holidays with my parents in Thorpeness when our children were small - such happy times.

Lucky you getting to Aldeburgh Sharon :-) We were there last year and loved it, we missed the house sign though and we were staying right behind it! Is that Orford Ness I spy from your mobile studio? It looks better than the day we went which was very misty but it added to the atmosphere.
