Lean pickings

Sometimes when I'm looking for a subject for my daily sketch it gets very difficult to find something new. Tonight I picked over some samples to see if anything resonated and I found a couple of challenging ones.

Having bought a new Pitt pastel white pecil today I wanted to try it out as the old one was dried out.

It was a good challenge to try and follow the stitch layouts on this one.

And this one was a good trial for pleats and tranparrency, lots of see through layers.
