New grandson

Proud Mum and Dad

Our latest grandson (our 12th) arrived today at 3.0pm. He has been eagerly awaited since Thursday, Valentine's day, but was far too comfortable where he was , so he arrived just a little later than expected.
He was quite a big chap weighing in at 9lb 2oz, and was born at home, just as his Mum and Dad had planned.

For those who visit my blog regularly this is my GS Ben's little brother, so he'll have a good teacher, in all things art and nature related.

Hi
Congratulations to you all.
From what I have learned of Ben from your blogs - he will make a wonderful big brother.
I will have my GS all this week as it is half term.
Looking forward to it.
Cheers

And what a lovely photo of the two brothers. Ben looks thrilled to bits.
Have they chosen a name yet?

Hi Everyone
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments. Mother and baby had a very good first night and Mum, Dad and Ben have now chosen a name, Finlay, (SP?) John.

Congratulations Sharon and to the proud parents too! What a gorgeous baby! Smiling all over my face here :) Ben looks so delighted, he'll be a smashing brother. My friend's daughter had a little boy 4 months ago and they named him Finley too. :)
